 Every plant on earth is necessary to maintain the ecological Balance of the nature. Every civilization on earth has taken the blessing from the Medicinal and aromatic plant to secure the heath from the ancient times. The 'Ayurveda' has treasure of knowledge to cure almost all disease . The base of securing the health for all lies in the farming and marketing of medicinal and aromatic plants. 

According to world health organization estimates the current demands for medicinal and herbal plants are US $ 14 billions and by 2050 it will be US$ 5 trillion. India has tremendous potential in this sector. 

 The Indian export of medicinal and herbal plants was Rs. 446 Core (2000) and by 2010-11 it is estimated to the Rs. 11000 crore.
